Update on Potty Training
We are still trying to potty train Skylee. I decided that it was best to not make her sit on the potty and let her go when she realizes she needs to go. She will maybe go in the potty 2 to 3 times a day. I love when she does go because she gets so excited! She will sit on the potty and then when she starts to go she gets the biggest smile on her face, then when she is done she will literally jump up and say "I did it!!" then run around the house clapping her hands and screaming! She is just an excited little girl, too bad she won't go in the potty all the time, she is still changing her own pull ups, silly girl. Will continue to work with her and hopefully by the end of the summer she will be potty trained!!

It's so stinking cute when they do! I love that we are going through the same things, Saige changes herself too... it's actually pretty convenient! She hates the wet pull up so she takes it off, throws it away, and puts on a new one. She even wipes her own butt! LOL!
ReplyDeleteHaha That's great! It does make it so much easier that way when we have another tiny human to take care of! I am glad we are going through the same things as well, its nice to have someone to talk to that can relate! I know I say this a lot but I wish we lived closer, our little girls are so much alike I have a feeling they would be the best of friends!! Have you tried the pull up app?? If Saige likes Disney she would love it, its way cool. It has a 3D celebration movie thing with some of the characters and some of the characters can call your phone for her :) You don't actually get to talk to them, its just a recording but its pretty cool! Sky loves it!
